Frisbee Golf

There are two great locations and you will need to check the park website for availability or call the city.  Best thing it is free to play at either of them.

The one at Rosedale Park is in Mission KS. near 42nd & Mission road (913-573-8327).   The other location is at Shawnee Mission Park which is at 7900 Renner Road in Lenexa, KS (913-888-4713).

WTT is a co-ed recreational league using the same format as the professional WTT team, the Kansas City Explorers.  Each team has a minimum of 4 players-2 women and 2 men.  The format consists of six no-ad sets: men’s and women’s doubles, men’s and women’s singles and two mixed doubles.   

Levels: 4.5 & below, 4.0 & below, 3.5 & below, 3.0 & below 

When: Tuesdays (generally) & some Mondays - matches on Tuesdays starting at 6, 7 or 8 p.m. Rain-outs re-scheduled for another evening or end of session

Fees: $180 team fee if you form your own team (4-6 or 8 players recommended) – no split Individuals register for $45 per person and if enough sign up, we will form teams; Fee includes cost of league, WTT membership, courts and balls . Contact information above if you are interested.

Soccer Pick-up

Mondays at 6:45pm there is full field outdoor soccer pickup at 67th and Lamar in Overland Park, Kansas.  Just show up bringing a light colored and also yellow t-shirt. There is no cost to participate.


Every Friday from 12:00-2:00pm at All American Indoor Sports.  Cost is $5. There is one competitive and 1 recreational field of play.  Address: 8875 Rosehill Road in Lenexa, KS. 66215 (near I-35 & 87th Street). No need to RSVP! Just drop by. Kansas City Outdoor Club

Founded in 1970, it consists of over 200 outdoor enthusiasts from throughout the Metropolitan area.  Its purpose is to offer outdoor recreational opportunities and to educate and train its members in outdoor skills.  The website is   www.kcoc.info.
